Turkish White Bean Stew
- Ingredients:
- 2 cups of dried white beans
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, grated
- 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- Salt, pepper, cumin
- Instructions:
- Soak the dried white beans in water overnight.
- Drain and place in a pot, add enough water to cover, and boil until tender.
- Sauté the onion in oil until golden brown.
- Add the grated tomato and cook until the water evaporates.
- Add the tomato paste and sauté.
- Add the boiled beans, salt, and spices, and cook for a while longer.
- Serve hot.
