Peynir (Cheese) Plate
Ingredients:
- Assorted cheeses such as beyaz peynir (white cheese), kaşar (cheddar-like cheese), and tulum (aged cheese)
- Olives
- Tomatoes, sliced
- Cucumbers, sliced
- Optional: green onions, fresh herbs, nuts, honey, or dried fruits for garnish
Instructions:
- Arrange the assorted cheeses on a serving platter or cheese board. You can slice, cube, or crumble the cheeses, depending on your preference.
- Place olives on the platter, either in a separate bowl or scattered around the cheeses.
- Add sliced tomatoes and cucumbers to the platter, arranging them alongside the cheeses.
- If desired, garnish the cheese plate with additional ingredients such as sliced green onions, fresh herbs, nuts, honey, or dried fruits.
- Serve the peynir plate as part of a Turkish breakfast spread, accompanied by crusty bread, Turkish bread, or crackers.
